App Partner Program

Thanks for your interest in Unity AAC! The Unity Partner Program was designed to provide training and tools to professionals who participate in AAC evaluations and/or support individuals using Unity AAC. Once you have completed the prerequisite training, complete the application below. After you apply and have been approved, a redemption code will be sent to the email listed on your application and you will need to use it to upgrade Unity Discover to the regular Unity AAC app.

Please note that the program is not currently available to students.

If you have already completed an application and feel a code should have been sent, please DO NOT reapply. Contact unityaacpartner@aacapps.com.

If you feel like a fundable PRC-Saltillo device may better meet your client's needs, you may request a device loan at AAC Funding.

Follow the steps below BEFORE applying for a code:

  1. Download Unity Discover to your iOS device running iOS/iPadOS 16 or higher. Start a 30-day trial.
  2. There are two training pathways available (only choose one):
    • Navigate to AAC Learning Journey and enroll in the Unity AAC App Partner Program course. You'll need to sign up for an AAC Learning Journey account with your name (not a clinic or business or else we will not be able to verify learning requirements) if you don't already have one. This course will take approximately 60 minutes to complete.
    • If you have attended an Empowering AAC Communicators in-person course, your training is complete! Skip to Step 3 and list the date of your training on the application.
      • Note: must have been completed in the last 12 months, otherwise, please complete the online training requirement.
  3. Once your training is completed, complete the application at unityaacapp.com/partner_apply.
  4. A code will be sent within a couple of weeks. Follow the instructions sent with the code to upgrade your Unity Discover app to Unity AAC.

Please note: Redeeming your code through a mobile device management (MDM) system is not recommended and may not be compatible.
